Default Front Mount Hitch Uses?

I just added a front hitch for a cargo carrier, but I'm curious as to what other uses they have?

guys that cant back up a trailer use them

have seen winches mounted that way to be able to use front or rear

keep a eye on your temp gauge , don't want to block the air to the rad

Myself I would have tried to tuck it up and behind the tag holder , put the tag holder on a spring loaded hinge

It was designed for the blazer, bolted right in to the towhook/oil pan cover bolt holes.

I understand the bolt on part
Not a fan of seeing that hanging down but that's my opinion only

you could always keep a few tow straps in the back along with a reese hook adaptor. I've heard that the hooks are not super durable and another mounting point would spread it out. just in case you gotta pull someone out

A front mount hitch is more efficient at pulling vehicles out of a rough spot like a mud hole in my opinion. Hook a d-ring and make it look like a bull, vicious! Just my .02.

A lot of guys set up a winch to be able to be mounted either front or rear, but I've read that the pin that would hold the winch into the receiver tube really isn't build to hold up to heavy-duty winching. Especially if you have a 12k lb winch, and a super stuck truck. It's advised to get two receiver tubes for winch mounting. It would probably be ok, anyway, though, but that's what I've read.

Or drill it out and use a grade 8 bolt
