Default Fun Times

Fun Stuff:
Went to get some tires and wheels in Springfield.
Plug wire #3 kept falling off on the way and back.

Stopped at blandford plaza, lost my flashlight (Mag LED) and pliers, because I needed to relieve myself and was in a hurry.

Less than 1/2 from the plaza, my bad tire (which I knew was bad), decided to shred and mess up the lower corner, closest to the driver door.

Got to change with one of the 5 wheels I had in the Blazer (luckily) with just the light of my cell on the side of the Mass Pike. Irony: saw a maintenance truck 1/4 mi earlier turning around, before the tire went. He however did not make a pass before I got done. Lucky me, I had the annoying factory jack (you know, the one with the 5' handle), and 2 4-ways

Yeah on my first Jimmy (2wd) I had, I was doing 70-75 and my right hub bearing unexpectedly came apart going down the interstate. Wraped the whole wheel underneith and broke the spindle and bent the lower control arm. I was coming home from CO to GA for xmas leave back when I was active duty Army and this was like the 23rd of december. I wasnt 21 yet and had my wife and 2 dogs. Was a nitemare had to rent a small uhaul truck to finish the trip to GA in since I wasnt 21 and took a greyhound bus back to IL where the truck broke at a few days after xmas to get it from the shop. Luckly the guy that picked us up with the wrecker was really nice and didnt even charge me hardly any labour for fixing it. Just parts. Its a wonder I kept the truck from flipping but It all worked out in the end.
