Go figure...
I switch back to a GM after 5 years and after not even two weeks of owning it, the eff'n fuel pump goes out. I know it is a common problem, but geeez. Not even two weeks. :icon_doh:
Should I go back to foreign? :icon_couchhide: |
:icon_wink: Doesn't matter how long you've owned it, but how old and how many miles it has.

88,914 on the clock, built in December 2000.
I dont have the time to work on it. AAA just picked it up and took it to my mechanic. Just paid the sales tax on it yesterday and now I have to drop another $600. |
wow mines a 2000 and I'm over 100,000 miles and bout it with only 70,000. but all cars have their tweaks. I mean my friend has a 328 but he wants to trade it back in for another chevy truck.

One thing bad on a weak chevy fuel pump is to run low to out of gas, chevy built the pumps such that the gas in the tank cools the pumps off rather than just put in a decent pump. On an older pump all it takes is one time of low fuel and they are done.

i really should stop running mine down to fumes on every tank........................
|
Me too! LOL

Especially you Ken... you'll bring it to the mechanics and you'll get the "WTF is this mate?" look when they see the Blazer.
