hella vision plus conversion kits

has anyone used these before? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLA-003427291/ I used to have some APC ones and they were total garbage. the chrome backing baked off and the lenses were a very very thin plastic. Anyone know if these have glass lenses like the sealed beam lights? and if the chrome plating on the inside is better than the apc's that pretty much had chrome spray painted plastic? I want to do the HID kits but I need a good set of conversion housings.

i would go to lmc truck and get a set of their euro headlights. I had a set on my 92 sonoma and never had a problem.

do they have glass lenses? and do you think the chrome on the inside will hold up to the extra heat from 55w hid bulbs?

The lmc ones are glass but if you are going the HID route i would recomend getting a set of projector headlights. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/83-85...Q5fAccessories

They will spread the light better then the non projector ones with HID's.
