Tried searching eBay for a replacement, but can't find an exact match. I'm missing one and would like to replace it.
https://blazerforum.com/forum/attach...ine=1374500041 It's on my 93 Blazer (Full size) but I have no idea if it was original equipment or not. |
its a 6 lug stock chevy center cap. i dont know when they started using them or when they stopped. but you might be able to check out this website. thats just the first one that i found so you might be able to find it cheaper. just a thought though. just google, factory center caps for rims, and get to searching.

Thanks for that! I've found a few silver like that, but mine are chrome. I may paint or plastidip them anyway just for something different so it won't matter. But we'll see.
Ideally I'll find another set of wheels in the next few hours and I won't bother buying the cap afterall :) |
doh!! didnt think of the chrome...K,i found 1 more that is chrome for 2 bucks more..

Thanks for the help everyone. Picked up a full set of new chrome caps for $90 shipped.
Problem I am having is the lug covers aren't grabbing the threads on the lug nuts. I've tried my new set, as well as the two used sets I have. Cover internal threads are excellent and I don't see a problem with the lug nuts at all... And it's not all the covers... On one of the new centercaps, for example, I can get maybe 3 out of the 6 to grab thread no problem. The others just spin as if they aren't even coming close. I tried removing the little plastic standoffs, but still no luck. Should I just replace the lugnuts and hope that fixes it? I really like the look with the caps, but can't drive it with only half the covers grabbing threads... https://blazerforum.com/forum/attach...ine=1377182890 |
something you might want to try is putting all the lug nuts that the caps are grabbing on to and put them all on one wheel. then try the cap again and see if they all grab on that. do that for all 4 caps and all the lug covers, then you can either make a better decision or possibly find something out about the problem. then you may not have to buy a bunch of lug nuts? im not too sure, but it would give you a start and might save some money.
