How do I fix this . . .

Not sure what section this should be in - had no luck searching.

I pulled stuff out the rear of my truck & it hooked the rear widow heating wire/terminal/connection. Broke clean off the glass.

Not sure if it can be re-soldered on or not.

you can re solder that but do it a little at a time and with just the heat it takes to melt the solder!

OK Thanks. I'll give it a go.

If that doesnt work for you, remove the glass 4 bolts on the hinge and flip it up side right then add a bit more solder if needed with out it dripping. Easy fix.

be carefully soldering it. heat it a little at a time and i would put a wet rag on the back side. you dont want to shatter the window.

Yeah you need to solder it back on, that's the only way.

You can solder upside-down. Happens all the time. Its a capillary action. But if you arent used to doing it everyday it does seem impossible.

Worse comes to worse, if you really bugger it up, Junk yards have them pretty cheap!

Good luck!

You forget which country I'm in! LOL :)

The only source for used Blazer bits is the local Chevy guys & part of what they do is convert the Holden utes into hearses. For the rear glass they use the Blazer one so they get first dibbs at it. If, & it's a big IF, they agree to sell one, it'll be pretty close the the cost of importing one.

Yep! You're right!
I didnt notice where you were from.
Right now, if I wanted too, I could drive about 30 minutes and have access to 20 rear hatches.

Sorry parts are hard to come by for you.
