I was at the junkyard last week,noticed a 87 s10 with the 2.8 and it had 512k on it. Not sure if the engine or trans was original but cool.

Back in the days when I used to see 1st gens in the boneyard, they all had 140k average. Every single one I looked at seemed to have 140k.
For MA, that's a LOT of miles. Think about it - never going more than 35 mph (unless out on the highway) in stop & go traffic for 140k. 24/7 salt baths for 5 months out of the year. Slamming over potholes & general roughness, sometimes worse than off road. It's a rough life up here. |
175k miles on my current one, 202k on my last one, could have gone much longer if some idiot would not have hit me.

2001 zr2 87000 miles, motor and tanny no issues.2 4x4 motors, rebuilt transfer case ,new heater core , radiator leaking now on the header.For me its about loyalty to chevy learned it from pops.Since 1989 only owned 2 blazers.

my 98 4dr just rolled 300k i only payed 600$ when it was at 285k

geez! and i thought 112k was bad lol. My florida trip should add another 3k to her.
