I will never do that again.

So i thought it would be fun to drive up this sand hill.

Turned out it wasnt fun. I was stuck there for 3 HOURS!!!!

2wd, doesnt do good offroad, especially in sand.

Heres some photos and a video so that you guys can laugh at me :icon_teeth:

I see the problem right off the bat! That wreath you have on the back is NOT made for offroad!!! If you wish to take a 2WD offroad in the future, you MUST put an offroad wreath on it!

Oh, and 2WD really, really, REALLY suck in soft sand.

Bosgarage57 12-11-2010 06:42 PM

AJbert can you please provide a picture of an offroad wreath? I'd really like to pick one up, Oh and also can I fit 31's on my stock blazer.:icon_couchhide:

lmao.

Wedging sticks and tree limbs under the rear wheels didn't get you out?

You need different tires for sand IMO

that yellow sand sucks. Me and a friend took his 88 Blazer 2dig out and he decided to try and go down a trail by the powerlines with that soft yellow sand. We got stuck 8 feet away from the entrance to the trail. haha. We had to call his buddy with his Sierra to help get us out.

LOL!

but that sucks........ ................... going to avoid sand unless i got some sand paddles lol......

matt92 12-11-2010 07:49 PM

nope, the sticks didnt work, and then we had boards, and those barely helped either, just had some guy and my friend help us out, pushing and pulling with his truck.

hmm obviously you need to choose a steeper sand hill to climp :) reverse works better and can usually get you out of situations easier when gravity is on your side instead of against it!

matt92 12-11-2010 08:30 PM

Ehh, i think im going to hold off from hittin the trails until i get a locker.

1 wheel peel is a buzz kill.

84BlazerS10 12-11-2010 08:31 PM

That sucks, but I guess if you are going off road you should expect to get stuck.
