Installed New Multifunction Switch, Now Nothing Works

I installed a new multifunction switch because the wiper switch was worn out. I made sure everything was exactly the way the old one was. Now I have several problems:

-No response when key is inserted/turned
-Headlight switch: dash lights come on but headlights do not
-New switch does not work whatsoever

Any ideas on what it could be? The battery was disconnected and reconnected after installation.

sounds like the ignition switch has a loose connection. Ya might wanna recheck your work.

Would that cause the hazards to not work as well?

I would think so... Does the cluster light up when the key is turned?

zball94 10-15-2012 10:43 PM

Not when the key is turned, only when the headlight switch is turned.

yea it really sounds like the ignition switch got knocked loose or something

Alrighty I'll check that out.

I agree with gio, sounds like a lose ignition switch connection.
