I ran 35 watt HID's in my clear lens lights like that. They did okay, but still not what they were designed to have in them...
I ended up doing a full projector retrofit and run 55 watt HID's in them. AMAZING light output now. I still use some cheap LED's in the high beams, although it's really not necessary since the projectors are bi-xenon and function as both low and high beams.

I have a set of HID 9005 bulbs that I'm going to try out tomorrow.
Actually I've seen an S series with the projector lights on it and I don't know how they managed to drive after dark. I guess it was maybe the bulb they were using but I could barely even tell they were on.
Your setup looks pretty solid though.
