Default lot of grease

Hi everyone,,well had a burst of energy this morning so decided to change my oil. While i was under i was looking around and found a pile of grease near my CV axle on the drivers side, so i cleaned it off and checked the boot but could not find any tears or cracks. It was too much for ball joints. So any ideas? Thanks

I have had a the inside boot slip off from the inner CV-joint. Did you check if the inner lip of the boot could slip off.

Another possibility is that the output shaft seal for inner CV axle is leaking.
