Metric conversion date?
 

Does anyone know the date Chevrolet/GM started and finished converting to the use of all metric measurements and tooling?

9/11 ?

My 1999 is all metric. It says so in the manual and even on the lug-nuts! :)

The 1984 s10 blazer I had was 99.9 % metric - My 1983 Chevy 3/4 ton 6.2 diesel is about 1/2 and 1/2 mainly some metrics in engine and drive train but some parts are standard - make it interesting too work on - most of the body ect. is standard
