I get good mpg around 20 mostly highway and dirt roads, but here is a question.... what kind of exhaust would give me better mph, or would it be best to stick with stock?

Dang im getting between 11 and 12 mpg..actually it never makes it to the full 12 MPG and it had a tune up in the last 6 months. Hm maybe needs an oil change. Its 4WD (never use it) cleaned the intake plenum real good and since then i havent checked the mpg. But for a good 4 months i checked constantly on my MPG and id tear haha. I lowered it now and wana get an alignment before starting to keep track of my MPGs< but yup thats what ive had for the past 3 years havent noticed it honestly until Gas prices went up here in the Bay Area CA.

I'm pretty sure I posted on this thread at some point a 2 or 3 years ago, but I'm tracking my mileage again, and I'm gettting 16mpg with 4" of lift, 32" tires, and quite aggressive driving. When I granny drive it I'm in the 18-20mpg range. My ECM is corrected for my tire height and different gears. I have currently removed my roof light rack. That created quite a drag and cut my highway mileage by 1-2mpg.

I'm just trying out a tank of premium fuel with my Hypertech programmer's premium power tune just for fun to see how much of a difference it will make. I'll post up results at the end of this tank in 2 weeks.

Denzo 03-30-2013 05:38 PM

I got 13.4 out of my last tank of gas

lionsfan170 05-04-2013 11:29 AM

if i am trail riding i get close to 9 mpg, but for the most part it is around 17 mpg with the mass air unplugged because the filter that i had to oil ended up oiling my MAF sensor  well i guess it wasn't too expensive a lesson LOL

I know I've posted on this before. But I'm in the 16s now. Putting in a new tstat helped a good bit. Damn heavy 31s

bear159 05-04-2013 05:40 PM
