Oil filter and "charcoal box" relocation
I have a 1998 2dr blazer, 4x4. I need to know if there is anyway to relocate my factory oil filter? Im afraid that a stump or rock is gonna kill it? Anyone every done this? Also I would like to move the black box that's in the rear bumper/ fender well on drivers side. I thinks it's known as a "charcoal box" either way it needs to be moved away from my approach angle! Thanks for the help and sorry if this has been already covered, I couldn't find anything on it.

well you need to tell us what your driving.
since i am not sure i am gonna go off what i think you can do.
the oil filter can basically be put anywhere you want, i have read that some people move it up on the frame by the wheel well.
basically you need to extend the lines, what i did was use high pressure tranny line and adjustable clamps when my oil lines went out. i mounted the new lines to the old fittings.
that method could be use to relocate the oil filter.
i would think the charcoal box would be easier, that could be move up in front of the spare maybe on the frame cross member.
all that is based on what i would do with my own ride.
