I'm finally getting 17mpg again with my 32's. I was getting 17mpg stock. After the lift and tires I dropped to about 12mpg. Then after the e-fan, CAI, and 2.5" exhaust I went back up to 15mpg. Then after I sawpped to a 4.10 gear and had my comp. tuned, I'm getting 17mpg on premium.

How much was the tuning and how does the exhaust sound on the 4.3L? Sound like a v6?

The tune is from www.wait4meperformance. The price is $75 plus $9 for return shipping if you send them your computer. Its $159 shipped for them to send you a new computer. As far as the exhaust I chose the dynomax because you get the performance without the sound. This is my dd and I didn't want a loud truck. So its a shade louder than stock, but still very quiet.

Have you run it on a dino? Just curious what HP your looking at. Did you get it tuned for fuel economy or performance?

No dino. And I got the economy tune, which was suppost to be like 2-3mpg on regular, 3-4 on premium, and 20hp or something like that. Shoot them an e-mail or call and they will answer all your questions. They have GREAT customer service.

So to answer the question you have been asking, I get around 20ish depending on how I drive. Mind you that I only drive highway and seldomly go into town. Thats why my wifes car gets good mpg.
