I'm glad you're staying away from that white 95 Jimmy... for one it's ugly as sin, when I opened the ad I vurped a little. How much do you have in the S10? Take that price, add the difference and buy that red 2dr. That's your best bet. It's clean, and besides the engine swap it hasn't been ****ed with. I would never buy someone elses custom ghetto mobile unless I knew it was done right, that white Jimmy just spelt disaster IMO.

Really, i only have my blazer plus 800, so approx $1800. I have about 300 cash right now, so if i can sell the s10 for 1500-2000, that should be enough to wheel and deal for another blazer. I also think im going to just wait for another 98+ 4.3. I like to travel, and having a v8 doesnt help on gas. So we'll see how it goes!

Man brian id hook you up man. But you know what really gets me? As if $1500 isnt cheap enough, people try to low ball the hell out of me, offering 1100, 1300, etc, asking if i can go cheaper. I almost want to say, " The engine AND trans is worth more than that". Damn tire kickers around here. its a $1500 truck, dont pick at things.

Yeah its totally worth more than 2k and like xgiov says, the economy sucks so everyone wants everything cheap.

Someone will snag it up eventually. just stay firm.

You won't see much difference between a 350 Blazer and a 4.3 Blazer... in fact the 350 might get better mileage because it won't be working as hard to push the Blazer around. As it is I'm getting about the same mileage out of a full size truck as I was my 5spd 2dr Blazer I had, put my engine in a lighter truck and I'm sure it would be even better. Now that's an LS series engine, the older 350 shouldn't be that far off though. If you could find an LS1 swapped Blazer though that'd be ideal IMO.
