That second link doesn't look too bad. Look at the shipping on the first one...25 bucks. OUCH.

Thank you so much for responding..
That was one of my issues on the first one was shipping..second one is free shipping..I was just curious on the construction between the 2 as the first one looked like it would be stronger than the second ...or am I off here..

The first does look stronger. I looked at Canuck Motorsports (the maker of springtech) site and couldn't find the second one. It looks like you can order the first one directly from them for 49.95 + 15.00 shipping, saving 15 bucks. They take paypal, too. Here's a link to the page where I found the shackle: link

They're in the 2nd section, part number 2118.38002

I have the second link SpringTech shackles. And have had absolutely no problems with them for the past 6 months or so. They are very sturdy and well made. Hope this helps

I am big on these. They even give you a place to hook to. I've had these on my truck for over a year and they still look new even after being beat various ways! They raised the rear an inch.

Besides, they are meant for a Jeep - and that'll just piss a Jeep owner straight off! LoL

Thanks again so much on the info guys.. I was told earlier I would need the keys for the front also...Is this true or false as I have seen guys on here just wrench there front..
Or should I just get the keys also?
Those jeep shackles look cool but I want more than a 1 inch in the rear though..

wheelhead4x4 03-09-2011 02:34 PM

You don't need the keys. Just crank the ones you got.

Okay guys thank you so much for your advice on this ..much appreciated..

I second the "no", on keys for the t-bars. They're useless. And I recommend only to go up 1.5" at max on the t-bars. Then go get an alignment.
