Quick Question *noob time*

So I was under my blazer the other day looking for things that squeek...

Now this is the best picture I found on the net.. and it happens to be raining out right now..

http://www.s10forum.com/classifieds/...90802-1750.jpg

Now the two circles that I assume are like bump stop things... On my blazer they don't touch anything...

Is this normal?

I assume the two rubber looking items that are rounded and above the spot on my blazer actually bottom out there to prevent the axle from going to far...

Right/wrong or completely lost?

I was just curious I have never really looked into the suspension aspect other than what lifts available.

correct, those are the bump stop plates welded to the axle, they are used to prevent the axle from traveling to far and hitting other things under full suspension travel. I have found alot of the second gen S series trucks to have the front leaf spring bushings dry out and cause a squeak under suspension travel. hope this helps.

Nice, before I look... Offhand where to buy bushings?

I figured I was close to being right... and if the squeak is from these bushings I will feel better!
