Smile Re. 1999 Chevy Blazer 4x4.

Hey - would someone like to help me!

I'm just about to buy a 1999 Blazer, but there 2 models to choose from.
1) The 4wd is: 2HI - 4HI/4LO
2) The 4wd is: AUTO 4 wd + 2HI - 4HI/4LO

Would the second be a newer model ex. 2000 but sold in 1999 ?

Wishes Henning

some models came with the automatic transfer case, hence auto 4wd. Doesn't mean its newer, just an option

The NV236 (option 2 above) was available from 1998 on through end of production. The NV233 (option 1 above) was available back into the 1st gens and also through the end of production.

What is the reason for this question?
