Re:Bad Design

My 99 jimmy has has the front upper/lower ball joints replaced 2X.Once by me and former owner.I never take it off road and hear I myself have replaced both sides along with upper control arms.I like my blazer the 3rd I have owned but the best one was my 90 s10 which I overhauled .I never heard of rear bearings going but front ones that I replaced 4 months ago..Anyone have the knowledge why these go out so much?Probaly bad design but for just driving on highway no.

What brand? I've had cheap balljoints fail within 2 months, but I'm going on 6 years now with the Moogs with no issues at all.

Don't know what kind the mechanic put on..But this person doesn't put bad stuff on from what I heard and do know and believe it was something like over $120 each side but would have to get my RECIEPT.Now I replaced them once and the person who had it before me did also and then the jimmy was like only 3 to 5 years old and low mileage. And those werenfactory items but GM should be smacked for making them like they did cause there nice vehicles. But now I have in last 10 months replaced upper/lower ball joints, upper control arms, both front wheel bearings, rear shackles, rear end just done a new axle and wheel bearung and seal.So what's left us rear sway bar links, front sway bar links and gonna put new shocks on it in the spring All the stuff mentioned first was no choice needed done.I do know I at least know what have now and love a quiet ride for the first timensunceni bought it..Quiet as beck..

Have the tbars cranked out of specs? Easiest way to wear out front end parts by far.

I wanted to raise the truck by the torsion bar at one time but it was never done. Its at factory and I never take it off road and don't know why they wear out so much.I had it all changed once and prior owner did also and not with many miles in it.Just had rear end work done and hope That's it for awhile lol.
