yeah they flip back in the 98 but my drivers seat is leaned too far back for them to fit. but i took them off and now they fit fine

its uncomfortable in my 03 with the driver rear seat folded fwd tooo........
i may have to look at removing the head rest...

On a related note...
Has anyone ever disassembled the rear seats? The rear headrest on the driver's side in my '00 2 door doesn't fold back, so I can't fold that seat down at all. I want to take it apart and fix it.

If I ever want to clip my head rests back in I'll have to take my seats apart, lol.
The clips fell down inside the seat...
For those that are wondering, they're the same style as a window crank clip.
