Recently acquired a '98 Jimmy...what am I in for?

I've been floating around the forums for a few days now...I always join the most popular forum that supports whatever I'm driving to learn about the vehicle I'm in. What I have now is a '98 Jimmy SLT, 4x4 with just under 200k. I got it knowing it had blown intake gaskets and I spent a good 2-3 days replacing them, so that is done and taken care of. My question is, what are some of the other common problems these vehicles have? Anything I should start looking at now to avoid disaster in the future? Any feedback would be appreciated. This is definitely one of the nicer vehicles I've ever owned and would like to hold on to it as long as possible.

Welcome to teh forum. 200k, it'll be hard to say what you need to watch out for at this point. Really need to know the maintenance history to give you a decent answer.

However, there aren't too many things on your truck that haven't been answered around here. Not saying they are prone to breaking down, just saying their is a vast knowledge around here. I highly recommend the Do-It-Yourself section when it does come time for repairs upgrades.
