Hi,

What would be the best repair manual for a 1987 k5 ?

Hayness or Chilton?

I have a chilton for my older trucks but i dont really like it.....

What are you guys using?

I use a Genuine GM repair manual that I found on Ebay. I have a haynes too, it coveres the basic stuff, but thats really it.

factory manual is the way to go!

Or, just google your way through what ever problem it is!

I recommend going to your local library and using their access to Mitchell or Alldata. I can get Mitchell for free at my library. I look it up on the computer and print out the pages necessary.

It's like a book store where you get stuff for free but you have to give it back eventually.
