Kid in my auto class parked her on a tree at 70 mph while passing another car. He is unhurt, truck is totaled.

Cant really tell, but the engine block is shattered, drive train pushed back a few inches.

 

I'm pretty sure he wasn't doing close to 70, even though the speedo is sitting there. 70 would have cause ALOT more damage. Glad he's okay.

 

spedo is at 90. 70 was what was on the speeding ticked he got.

Wow glad hes ok. But if he was doing 70 into the tree then the truck took that really well. My dad did 120 into the trees when he was about 18. But he was also either driving his firebird or his GTO. i cant remember. but both are solid steel, and thats the only way he survived. Alcohol was involved also

 

Looks like the side markers survived. Glad they did too.

 

Talked to him yesterday. He was passing a car, realized it was two cars so he sped up tp get around, another car came over the hill. Heran out of time to do anything so he hit the ditch, jumped the bank and into the tree. truck bounced off of the tree about 5-6 feet
