Scan tool ?

Anyone own the Equus 3160 Scan tool made by INNOVA.

I am considering purchasing one. We have a ABS light on and this tool looks to do most everything I would what.

I have a 2001 4x4 blazer and can not tell if this tool will work for the ABS as it only says it works with most domestic vehicles but does not specifically tell me which ones.

From what I have read it is a bi-directional tool which I should be able to use to do things like command all of the ABS solenoids open to bleed brakes.

I have only a code reader now and would love to have a tool that will scan and give me more insight into what is going on with my Blazer.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Hmmm, looks like it might...

ABS Coverage 1996 & Newer GM, Ford and Chrysler Vehicles Optional*
Linky, about half way down...
Innova site

This is something I would really LOVE to have...

Tech 2

They are very nice tools and an excellent investment. I have the 3150 and it works great. Go Forth and Scan!

Thanks for the links. I may contact them to make sure on the ABS scan working on my 01 Blazer

The Tech2 is a bit beyond my budget, I can't justify its cost for no more than I would use it.

Thank you

Thanks for your input, Does your 3150 read the ABS code on your Blazer and if so what year Blazer do you have?
