Second generation special tools

2001 4x4 here

What special tools should i be investing in to maintain this truck?
I have all the sockets wrenches pliers etc you can imagine.

I have already made a driver to replace the rear axle bearings
I also already have a 20mm wrench for the fuel filter

Things Im looking at

35mm hub socket
Fuel pressure gauge-who make one that come with the adaptors we need?
larger spark plug gauge to read 0.060"

Im curious about the following

Fuel line release tool- not sure what if any are able to be used on these lines

Is there anything else that may be useful or is specific to this truck?

code reader, elec. meter, and BFH

O2 sensor socket set. The one auto zone sells for $25 works great.

The hub socket is 36mm, is it not?

35mm fits better. I've already had it apart, borrowed a socket, 36mm is a little loose. That being said I have used a 36mm on the 35mm on an 05 trailblazer.

Original Axle nuts are 36mm. Actron CP9580 is entry level. It will access only the basic powertrain stuff. It says it has "complete access" to ABS, don't believe it ;) Need to spend big money for complete access to ABS. It does not access the BCM, airbag, or instrument cluster. Amazon & Ebay have some decent used scan tools that will access all of it, and some have limited bi-directional capabilities starting around $2K, depending on software and accessories. Another handy tool is a 36mm (1 7/16") open end wrench for the water pump pulley. As for the fuel line release tool, the only place you might think about using it is on the fuel pump module. Think, is about all you'll do too, damn things don't fit in there, even if you could see what you're doing ;)

What about this scanner?
I guess the axles have been replaced. I doubt the same is true for the trailblazer though.
