Alright. so for kicks i listed mine up for trade or sale. I love my blazer but im in dire need of a truck. Man sent me a email offering a 01 s10 4.3 5 speed.

Mechanically it is solid.Its mostly black. The front end had been swapped. It has grey fenders and a white hood. Single cab 4.3l v6 manual trans. 13xxxx miles. It is lowered. Dual flow master exhaust Has chevy s10 xtreme wheels tires have less then 2000 miles on them. 2 kicker 10" subs behind the seats running dual amps and Kenwood aftermarket radio. Check engine light IS on but he had it checked several times by a mechanic and have been told it is the O2 sensor. Fuel gauge and temp gauge dont work as well. He doesnt have pics yet since he sent me a email this morning saying its at a shop getting a tune up and temp sensor fixed.

So,whatcha think? ive yet to see it.

 

straight across, it sounds like a good deal for you. i personally wouldnt, but I dislike standard cabs because of the lack of room. But, you need a truck...so...yes.

 

Upgrade of 10 years for sure. But I'm with the post above on a regular cab. There retail is way down compared to an xcab.
Is your Blazer a 4x4? I'm assuming the S-10 is a 2x4 by being lowered?
I think I would keep looking if it was me. Reg cab pickups out here are cheap & plentiful, because nobody wants them.

Well,heres a problem for me. Im almost 6'5. can i fit? lol ive got room in my blazer but my heads like 2 inches from the headliner.

 

If you going to trade for truck get a full size you will be alot happier.The jimmys have alot more room than S10 any day.

 

I'm 6 ft & I'm cramped in a reg cab. We even had a 02 Dakota 4x4 reg cab & I got rid of it because on long trips it was uncomfortable. I would never buy a reg cab even in a full size truck again. My 99 Dodge QC has so much more room than my F250 reg cab ever thought of having.

Your cramped in a regular cab?How is that Im 6ft 210lbs I have plent of room.The only thing that bothers me is I dont have cruse and on long trip my ankles and feet get cramps.

 

how far is the headliner from your head? im 5" taller then you. my head is like 3 inches from the headliner in my blazer. Going over speed bumps SUCK.
