Spray on bedliner?

So i have the typical rust starting on the rockers and the bottom of my doors on my ZR2. I was thinking of spraying the bumpers, fender flares (peeling) and the bottom of the rockers with something to protect them. Any idea? Someone suggested spray on bedliner, sounds okay to me. I know some people have done this before, i just cant find the posts.

Mine isn't a ZR2, but I just used a hurculiner DIY kit to do the same thing.

Whole exterior of my K5 has been lined using the NAPA stuff. Simple DIY kits do a great job as long as you take your time and do it correctly. I think this week I'll be finishing my interior.

I just used the rustoleum spray on bed liner to "paint" my rusty trailer hitch. it turned out pretty good

spray on bedliner wire trim

I would imagine there isn't much difference between a professionally done spray on, a do it yourself spray on, or a roll on, as long as it is done correctly. I have a spray in bed liner (Qwikliner), and have been very happy with it, and have had it for over 8 years.

Well, i went ahead and did it. i sued spray on bedliner on the front bumper and abused it like crazy for about a week, and then decided it stuck more than well enough ans did my rockers.

I hope you took care of the rust problem rather than just covering it up. Looks good, though!

I love it. I've thought of doing it to mine once I finally get around to lifting it..
