so i was on craigslist looking for parts for my 95 blazer. i came across this 98 zr2 blazer yada yada yada. long story short i check it out and its mint. exterior is perfect, interior needs a good cleaning and it has a broken brake line. it has 190k its a real zr2 not a clone, and i paid $800 for it. 4wd works flawlessly, trans is smooth and fluid is ok, oil is good, no knocks, taps or smoke. it is in really nice shape. the guy said it was his ex wifes or something and he didnt want to be bothered anymore. there is a nice assortment of aftermarket goodies too custom leather seats, gauge overlays with blue lighting, cowl hood, brush guard with piaa lights, remote start, pioneer cd player with amp and 10 cd changer, 4 brand new bfg tires

i think i did pretty good. Ill probably be selling the 95 and keeping the zr2.

i believe this forum has it or s10forum does, there are several areas to look for that says zr2. the one i bought doesnt have the door stickers anymore, the one under the hood is faded/peeling but on the inner wheel well it says zr2 stamped in the metal backwards.

found it: http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f19/do...-a-zr2-398329/

I paid considerably more for mine back in 2000. Enjoy and you might want to join another site dedicated to ZR2's to find out a bit more about them.

Dude, In my book, that's a steal! The custom leathers and new bf's are probably worth the $800 you paid! Nice deal! But I'm with Brian, I'd like to see some pics of this puuuurrrty baby!

Yup, gotta see some pics, but it sounds like you got yourself a helluva deal.

Hopefully that "great deal" doesn't turn out to be a moneypit like mine.
