Default Weird brake problem

For a long time now I’ve heard a squeaking in my rear wheels. Sounds like it’s the passenger rear wheel. I hear it when driving and worse when breaking. Sounds like grinding at low speeds loud enough to get looks in the suburbs. But yesterday I got in my truck and the brakes felt spongey and weaker but no squeaking at all. So I stripped down today and saw the brakes have good life and rotors are fine.

Have you removed the rear rotors to inspect the parking brake shoes?
