Well, a couple weeks after joining the forum... it was destroyed.
Yep that beatiful blazer you guys saw a few weeks ago is now destroyed. A girl ran a red light and I t-boned her, but the police couldn't find anyone at fault, because they couldn't tell if she was in the intersection when it turned yellow. There was also a witness that said I had the green, but the insurance companies are duking it out righjt now and will most likely have to pay out of our pockets.
Good news: Engine is still intact Bad news: Frame is bent, needs a new radiator I already started tearing it apart and will post pictures as soon as I get my camera. But I'll be posting pictures as the project comes along, I have to have a car before college. Man that sucks.
Doesn't look too bad though. A little time on a frame machine, some new sheetmetal, a coat of paint and it should be good to go again! |

That's pretty much it. I pulled off all the fenders and radiator support yesterday, so it's pretty much ready to go to the frame shop. But finding all the body parts I need is my next challenge.

It doesn't look bad at all! if you can't find that one part you are missing go to LMC Truck. you could build a whole new truck from there cataloge

I have more than this done but here are some pics of the tear down. I'll get better ones next time we pull it out, which will probably be on the way to the frame shop. By the way that's as far right as it can turn.
