Well, that sucks

Was on the way to work today, thought I smelled something burning. Got worried, since I had just done some wiring. Rolled the windows down and back up, seemed to go away, thought everything was cool.

I change lanes to the left to pass a semi, hit the gas, and the truck goes nowhere. Tach shoots up to 6k. Hmm, something seems amiss here lol

A few years back I had my atf lines repaired, they rubbed a hole in each other. The splices the transmission guy put in seem to have sprung a massive leak! Oh well, we were doing some crappy stuff at work today, don't mind missing a few hours of it

Oh man that does suck!

Bet you had a hard time crawling under your truck for that pic! Lol

Man, I'm still here waiting on a tow truck! 2.5 hours so far!

Well, she's back in the driveway safe and sound. About to head in to work in the other car. I'll mess with the lines sometime this week, fill her back up, and hopefully be good to go!

Yeah, it pays to inspect those rigid tubes. I found where one of the trans cooling lines was almost rubbed through where it touched the mounting base of the idle arm.

One solution is to put split fuel hose over possible wear points.

That looks like fun!

BTW I'm sure your front axle shafts and diff HATE you for slapping Boggers on that thing lol

Well, upon closer inspection last night, it seems one of the compression fittings has pulled loose. Wonder if it's from me jacking on the engine Saturday? Either way, I'm gonna get that patched up this week, and cross my fingers the transmission is still good

Not sure about those parts, but I know the front driveshaft didn't like it too much lol. It's since been upgraded and hopefully won't break again
