General Chat Chat about all things Blazer (and related vehicles). Off-topic stuff should be in the lounge, and all mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

What exactly does Blazer mean?

uh oh ... here comes a fight for Trail Blazer owners lol
But like Kyle & others feel (perhaps) they have a true blazer, us 2nd gen blazer owners could feel the same about Trail Blazer owners...
umm Kyle "Hey now... Move it to another thread! LOL" ?!

but a K5 is still more apt for builds etc IMO

Well Cobalt is an element, Equinox is when the length of day and night are equal, and Aveo is apparently Latin for "I desire" (according to wiktionary).

so a Cobalt is an element of "whatever" a mineral
an Equinox is like in Alaska
& an Aveo leaves something to be desired?

Well i was thinking a stock TB compared to a stock blazer. That envoy is sweet. He sure has a lot of stuff packed into that thing. My buddy has a trailblazer with a 2in lift and is lifting it more after its paid off.

Ofcourse if you compare say a stock TB with a ZR2, you are going to find the TB lacking, but stock for stock comparing a TB with a regular Blazer....

Ummm...., what were we talking about again... oh yeah, trying to figure out what the guy was smokin' when he came up with 'Blazer' back in '69.

"lookit the big brain on Matt" (ok, i know Samual Jackson said the guys name was Brent, but the saying seemed to fit here)

that TB you linked to Kyle is crazy! dude must live n the sand & rocks, for all the work he's done, you'd think he did anyways.

i don't recall who it was that already said it, but i remember the name did have to do with it "Blazing a new trail" in the world of personal vehicles. guess it does pay to have old guys as friends.
