I managed to get a lot done with mine, Put 20 miles on her.
Found a bad u-joint on the front driveshaft on the T-Case end.
4wd Cable was locked with pliers
Rear defrost cable was cut
Tires I think need balanced, Cant find any weights and I got a vibration at all speeds
Looking at buying a front end kit off ebay, any ideas?
Hopefully goin and picking up some used tires this upcoming weekend.

Every fall I blast the undercarriage with used motor oil - that's the only reason you don't see any holes in this one. Was in pretty good shape when I bought it - came from metro NYC. The drivetrain had a rough life - that's why it's got the '00 Jimmy engine in it. Luckily the original engine was so worn out, the 700R4 and rear diff are like brand new still.

Default Installed a Driver Information Center

Just installed it!!

Bought it on eBay (paid for it about 35 bucks) and then had it shipped to Colombia. BTW all Blazers here came with the Compass/Temp display so finding one here was not an option. The one I bought came from a S10 (don't know what year though) and was in very good condition.

After dissecting the console in my truck, reading lots of posts and taking the old display out I finally have it up and running. Still need to have the Compass calibrated, cause now it's showing C.

Found out the heater core is also leaking.. so tomorrow, on my birthday, I get to put in the radiator, and heater core. at least on a first gen you dont have to remove the dash.

Happy b-day to me.
