Removed the front passenger seat and replaced it with one from a u pull it yard. $50.00 and the seat back now works. The original seat back adjustment arm has been broken for a while now. I to tried just replace the arm with the adapter set up off the internet but the stud was broken off to short.

Next mission. Turn the driver side seat into a power seat(maybe that is bit of a stretch dunno)

regards

Default Kesley hayes 12467T?

After replacing all the sensors and such on the intake my old 96 blazer cranks right up only problem left is my ABS light. I have not found anything remotely similar to my trucks set up.

From what i can gather from taking it out and looking at it, it seems to be a kelsey hayes 12467T or thats what im guessing because thats the only numbers on it. It came up with a rear isolator solenoid stuck/shorted about 2 years ago when I first got it running but i never bothered with it.

i will include some pictures of what i have see if anyone can help me figure out what to do with it.

You might have the wiring already there for a power seat under your carpet. I have heard of that happening quite a few times.

FYI- I unplugged the 2 wire harness to my driver seat. No seat belt light on the instrument cluster and no reminder chime. I wear my seat belt but I'm not a fan of idiot lights. They aren't necessary in my case. It's a 2 door with no power seat wiring.

Really need a scan tool that can read ABS codes. That will at least give you a direction. Without it, you'll just be tossing money at it - a crapshoot whether or not you hit it in the first shot or not. I hate gambling with my money like that ...

Assuming the brakes work and it's safe to drive, drive it to the nearest O'reilly Auto Parts store and use their "loaner" scan tool to read the ABS codes. Most other national chains have scan tools available (although there's a sign on the door at Advance that says they won't be offering one any more), but around here, only O'Reilly has one that reads ABS (and airbag) codes.

Without the codes, you're just throwing money at it hoping for the best. Even with the codes, it can be challenging sometimes.

I had the heater core replaced on my 2000 Blazer LS. The part was $66 USD and so far labor was $300. I think I'm going to give him more money, that's a hard job.

Got nothing done on it this weekend besides had to use the AC for a bit while it was raining. Man does it ever blow cold. Its nice to have working AC (Jimmy had working AC but it was not that cold)

The reason why I did nothing is because Windows 10 forced update crashed my computer and I had to boot from a CD from the Windows 7 disc to wipe the drive and install windows 7 fresh. Do not download windows 10, and if you have be prepared to do this at some point. Seems to be a common thing in the life of the OS.

Been hearing that from everyone. Guess 10 is like a giant spyware program - you get constantly bombarded by popups to update ... and if you don't, it does it anyway! Really nice, Microsoft. Must be getting pointers from our government ...

So glad I bought an iMac. I'll NEVER go back.
