I've read good things about those and I really like the look of them.

torque pro is an impressive little thing for 5 bucks. That is what I did today. Played around with that.

Added cruise control to my 03 blazer ls. Stole the parts from a 2000 envoy! Was a pretty simple swap!

Nothing really today. But I got the 4 cans of gloss black paint in the mail today along with the masking tape to paint black accents on the wheels.

What extras do you get over the free one

I am not too sure since I have not used the free one. I Paid the 5$ right away.
But from what I am reading you have the ability to read and do more things with it, and the fact that you can customize the interface is awesome too. I am going to be getting car gauge pro some time here soon, that apparently has A LOT more things that you can do with it than torque.

I recently upgraded to Torque pro (last week).

The free version "Torque lite" is a very minimal demo of the full "Torque pro" app. The pro version has hundreds more PIDs, several additional display gauge formats, and a whole lot more features that I haven't even explored (yet).

The one thing lacking in Torque Pro (for Vortec Small Block Chevy engines like our 4.3L V6) is "CMP Ret" or "CMP Ofs" PID to set the dizzy position. I am 100% certain that it can be configured with a "custom PID" configuration feature to read that PID. I'm away from the Oldsmo-Blazer at the moment (probably for another week or two), and I haven't been able to fully explore that yet.
