Drove it out of the garage assembled for the first time in a couple years...

(Yes you are correct, the grill isn't pushed in all the way yet, and I'm not sure why the picture is upside down...)

A nearby shop wanted a vehicle with worn paint to demo their detailing services on, so I obliged them

At this point I have purchased the 2004 ZR2 Blazer. Next, is to rebuild the front clip and get it on the road

these trucks are amazing, replaced remote oil lines a ways back. removed the crimped end and replaced with double hose clamps. Well, on the highway friday a hose fell off, lost all the oil and the engine died. Had it towed home. Thinking the worst i was to get a new motor and go all out with a cam, headwork, port and polishing etc. First though, I fixed the hose filled it up with oil. It fied right up, no knock ,no rapping, nothing! Maybe because i had synthetic oil, maybe not . Oh well so much for the build LOL

Dodged a bullet there! Sweet!

I had a set of Dorman lines on my build. Started weeping oil in less than a year. Total garbage.

I've had a few worm clamps loosen with time on my stuff over the years. Last year our '86 Grand Marquis decided to spit off the upper radiator hose as my wife was driving it to work. I had put those hoses on 9 years earlier, so it took a while.

Had a double clamped tranny line blow off on my '72 El Camino while on a trip to Niagra Falls Canada, over 400 miles from here. Luckily I was able to limp to a gas station, since I shut the engine down the second I saw the billowing smoke pouring out in my rearview mirror. Those I had put on when I was living in Phoenix, AZ, Probably 50k plus miles earlier.

I did the same double clamp oil line job on a Suburban a guy used for towing. Same thing happened after 50k+ miles. Also saved the engine on that one.

Gotta check worm clamps at every oil change, especially if they're on mission critical hoses.

Think i`m gonna use wire and make a safety attachment from hose to metal tube to stop it from sliding off
