Swapped out the worn upholstery from some I found in a '95 GMC Jimmy.

Replaced the fuel pump.

Replacing a passenger side wheel bearing. Did the drivers side about a month ago. Darned thing just rolled over 60,000 original miles. Did brake front hoses they were shot and had to replace my Master cylinder earlier. That is what I get for buying a low mileage northern auto. The salt......damage unseen!

Picture time: 1996 Blazer 4x4 4.3l Replaced gaskets for the heads, oil pan, drain plug, timing cover, water pump, oil filter, exhaust, intake, & distributor. Replaced timing chain, plugs, plug wires, rear seal, some sensors to help clear the 8 engine codes. Cleaned the engine bay. I got weird with the paint cans. It looks "PURDY". Fingers crossed. More pics in the gallery. My 1st out of vehicle rebuild.

Ready to go back in.

Bought a 2004 Blazer in Austin, Texas yesterday with 42,000 miles on it. Now I can remove one other 2004 Blazer off my route and sell it with 213,000 miles. Its the one I had to replace the Cluster in my dash. This cluster had 56,000 miles more than my Blazer had. So subtract 56,000 from 213,000 and that would be the mileage. Too many things going wrong with it although it still looks rather nice for the use I put on it every day. Recent Fuel pump in it too and brakes of course.

Only 42k miles! Nice Score. I thought mine with "only" 135K was relatively low mileage. LOL

Is is 4WD? Any cool options?

Yes it has 4WD most everything needed. Nice to purchase it. Just missed out on a 19,000 mile one in Lancaster Ohio. The fellow said he would hold it. When we set out heading down the road for the 2 day trip we decided to call him, he changed his mind and told us a fellow from Pennsylvania was heading out to look at it. We knew he would beat us to it so we turned around and checked out this one in Austin. Need the low mileage ones because at 100+ miles a day it doesn't take long to roll the miles up fast and then starting into the breakdowns and needing stuff. This way with only 1 year and 9 months I have left till retirement hopefully this one will be the last one I will need to buy. I have had quite a few Blazers. Right now I have 4 but one should be sold soon. The spare I have too had 44,000 miles on it with sun roof, power seats 4WD all everything. Being I have used it much the last couple months it is up to 61,000 original miles but very nice. It was bought in Port Clinton, Ohio about a year and half ago. The lady traded it in on a New Ford.

Today I got my newest Blazer ready for the mail route tomorrow. Took out the center console, magnet cover over passenger side door, back seats folded down from now on with Harbor Freight cover down over the backs of them for many parcels stacked in it tomorrow. Sure was nice being off work since Friday but back in again tomorrow.....uuuuggggghhh!
