Well, today I washed my truck. She looks all pretty and happy, now.

Geez, Brad. Judging from that pic it doesn't look easy to me.
It really is lol. Just have to remember how everything goes back together. I find that engines and computers are really a lot alike in that they are really simple. For the most part lol. If you know basic physics than you can sort of troubleshoot most things. I mean I'm not good at it yet but I understand the concept of both lol. Plus theres only like 3 removable things in a laptop lol everything else is soldered to the motherboard.

Nope. Just don't torque them too much. Spacer to hub I did 110 ft-lbs and wheel to spacer the first stud broke close to 110. So I did the rest at about 95 and I check them once a month or more. Could have been just a weak stud cuz my uncle has his impact gun set at 120 and never broke one.

PS the fronts are fun lol

have trouble, or just being on safe side.
i am only doing the rears, mostly to balance them to the front

Yea I mean my dads new f150 calls for 120 ft-lbs and I'd rather not be rolling down the highway on 3 wheels lol

Ordered a pair of gas struts for the rear glass off e-bay on the 27th December from a supplier in NY (Bohemia where ever that may be) and they arrived today. That's amazingly quick from NY to NZ. Given it's the holiday season.
Paid $26.98 + $33.00 shipping (US$ that is). Converted, that cost me $79.95 Kiwi. (for 2)

Buying locally from the Chevy guys they're ex import only at $100.00 - 120.00 each plus gst so I figure I got a good deal.
