:icon_emm: someone had a hugely wide post in here.
I didn't do mine, it was there when I got the blazer but I'd strongly suggest soaking all the fasteners with a penetrating oil/lube.
As for the type of impact, that depends on how often you plan on using it & how hard. Basic help hurry things up - Harbor Freight no big name brand. Using it for tough projects or often, I'd get a good name brand with a good warrenty.

Yesterday I tried to adjust my shifter cable and snapped it. So today I get to try and find one so I can put that back together and get my truck out of the warehouse at work.

Man, today has been just a bad day overall. Things I wanted to happen didn't happen (blazer wise and personal wise) today and it has me kind of depressed. I got quoted $400 to install the pa 2 inch body lift I got for $50. And I would like to try it myself but I'm not that confident right now. Plus I don't even have a floor jack right now. My dad doesn't believe in me that I can install it. Just a bad day. I need a drink... :icon_errrr:

Can't wait til I go back to my apartment and start classes again in a few days. At least then I can talk to and look at hot chicks on campus and chill with friends there.

Installed my new shift cable. Everything feels great, except when I went to start the truck to verify this before going for a drive... the battery is dead.

We have jumper cables. But they're kept in the boss' ****ty old Mercedes we keep in the warehouse. The very same car he now has at his house. He's on vacation until Friday.

Just picked up the freshly painted front bumper for the Tahoe! Then promptly scratched the paint putting it up out of the way in the garage...:icon_doh: Luckily the scratch will end up behind the license plate and didn't go through the paint. :icon_neutral: I'll put it on once the white stuff goes away for good in the spring.

Looks good! :) More aggressive! Like the old school wheels. Do your tires rub at all?

I never liked them on my old 89 Jimmy, so I pulled them off as soon as I could for some American Racing AR21s.
