what have you gotten done on your blazer today?

The blaze has been at my dad's friends (mechanic) for a few days now. I took it over there after I couldn't figure out what was wrong. He confirmed it wasn't a spark issue or a fuel-related issue. So that knocks out plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, fuel pump, fuel leak, injectors.
According to him, it is a computer issue. The computer isn't reading the air-fuel ratio right and that is why it takes 30 to 45 seconds for it to finally crank, but when it does crank it runs well. He doesn't know the solution as of yet, but if he can't figure the solution out in a few more days, looks like the ecu needs to be re-flashed. :/

Putting the truck up for sale on Craigslist tomorrow. I'm sick and tired of poor gas mileage and dealing with new issues. This time the power randomly cuts completely out until I jiggle the battery, then I have to reset the radio and everything. It has even cut power to the truck while it was running a few times.
I never thought I'd say this... but I'm beginning to hate this truck.

i remember seeing a lot of green corrosion up inside the battery cable where 2 or 3 wires come together at the connection to the battery????

That Im going to start over from ground 0.Pull out the rebuilt engine thats 1 year older than my Jimmy is 95 engine in a 96 that Im going to put the 96 engine back in it.Simply cause a wiring harness wont match up to the 95 cpi. Then I just got finished spending $600 on having my transrebuilt and a stage 2 shift kit.

I already hate mine the only thing that keeps me going is how much $ and effort I have already put into it to get that darn thing going on the road again.
