What are some must-do imporvements (2005 ZR2)
 

Hi....just preface with I'm not very mechanically inclined and wouldn't be doing much really myself here – total mechanical noob - but this is the first vehicle I've ever owned that I LOVE and want to throw some money at it to modify.

What are some must do mods, would you say?

I've been reading about
- cold air intakes
- headers / performance exhausts
- turbo chargers

I would like to get more of rumble out of this little beast, which I'm sure is as easy as a different muffler, but I'd like to get more power out of it too.

I'd also like to change the steering wheel and shift knob to sexy wooden ones (it's automatic but the shift is on the floor console)

Is lifting the suspension (?) something folks do a lot of.

Again, I'm very new to this whole scene of improving a car with performance parts, so I will soak up all the knowledge and tidbits you can offer.
