2000ZR2 putting on a winch plate. It will be a trail rig so I get rid of them. Or do I have to have them. There are 2 of them between the frame rails.

Ok thanks I thought that was in front of the radiator. What is the best way to remove them without. The bags going off? I still need to drive it home. And after that it's going to be on a trailer.

If it is going to be a trail rig then pull the battery connection, pull the airbag fuze, turn on your lights (to drain any residual energy in vehicle), then pull the airbags and replace steering wheel with one you want (i like quick disconnect steering wheels) and fab something for the passenger side.

Then get a video camera and popcorn something with the airbags (unless you are going to sell them)
