window

:icon_gunhead:ok i was rolling up my driver side window and all of a sudden i felt this snap and so i checked it out and inside my door panel was this tiny piece of plastic, well that plastic ends up holding my window in place on a track so now i have to hold it every time i roll it up. so if anyone knows where i can find that piece or do i just have to take it to a window guy??? also when i took off the door panel i lost the freakin' clip that goes on my window crank, what a hell of a day :icon_doh:

They are called window clips (or guidees) and you can buy them at pretty much any auto parts store. The ones in a S10 don't fit other vehicles. Dorman makes them under their HELP stuff. Napa has their own. You should have one on the bottom front and upper rear of the front windows. That's why they sell them in sets of 2. U promise you won't go broke buying them. As far as the window crank, just take it in to the parts store with you and they can hook you up. Probably under the Dorman HELP stuff too. Little hint here. Check you nylon retainers on your door panel. You may have broke some of them and not know it.
