Wireless Switches?

Has anyone tried these to run accessories? This kit is about the same price as the extra wire and normal switch I'd need, and it saves a lot of work. I'd use it to trip my 40A relay/harness under the hood for lights.

it should work, but bear in mind it is not waterproof... any moisture inside and it's toast...

i would just run the wire and the switch. once you have that done, you never have to spend any money on things like batteries for the remote....plus there is always the possibility of losing them...
just my .02

i have had experience with these, i installed one for a set of fog lights. After the first rain we got after installation they no long worked, took it back and exchanged it new a new one . This one i had place inside a plastic bag in an effort to keep it dry. The next week i went and did some light offroading, splashing through some puddles and before i knew it the unit was shorting out and made my fog lights look like strobe lights. After that i returned it and just ran a solid switch, so in my opinion they are not worth the time or money.

If they were waterproof and had an option to have a membrane button mounted inside the cab then I'd get a set.
