So I wrecked my 2001 LS 2 door a couple weeks ago. Insurance finally cut a check totaling the truck. Going to pick up a 2003 ZR2 tomorrow. :icon_playing:

Thanks.

Picked it up this morning and went straight to the shop to get my state inspection done. FAIL. :icon_doh: Needs both inner tie rods, one outer tie rod, one lower ball joint, the center link, both front sway links, and a front axle seal. The axle seal I knew about and was gonna get fixed anyways. The others are a surprise. I test drove the truck before buying it and it drove straight and the steering seemed tight. So another $1300 I didn't plan on spending. And to top it off, the center link is a dealer only item (according to the shop) and is going to take 5-14 days to arrive. So the truck will sit up there until the part arrives. No double charge for labor here.
As I see it though, Im still ahead on the truck. KBB says $5700 in fair condition . I only paid $3600 for the truck with 117*** miles on it. Plus there were already some goodies installed such has a full Alpine sound system (headunit w/ ipod hookup, amp, and speakers...no subs) and HID headlights. It does have a good size dent in the drivers side, but no creases. I'll be able to pull it out after I heat the paint up.

This is the only picture I have of it right now.

That's the plan on Monday. Got a heat gun and giant suction cup at work. :icon_wink:
