wonder how exspensive this wheel is.

I've seen stuff about the tweel before. It's really a great invention, but I imagine it's a bit pricey.

Also what happend when you get snow in there in the winter? You have a big chunk of ice.

i would love to try these out on the trails!

I would imagine for automotive use they would put a side wall on them. I would get them for a car but not for anything I'd ever take offroad. You can't "adjust" the tweel by airing down for max traction offroad.

I also like the idea for trailer wheels. No longer need to have a spare!

I've heard rumours of excessive high-speed vibration... over anything from 55-60mph. These definitely aren't production ready yet.

my question is how would these work out in the low profile tire market?,like what u guys with 20"s and up have.all the ones they showed were a fairly thick "sidewall design so they flexed like reg tires..its like anything..wait till the glitches r worked out.

btw lil off topic but good to see others from my area of NY lol(aka the OP)

I'm impressed by the skid steer part. I know they had other more bulky ones but they bounced you around just the same. They would be good for turf tires.

Wait a few years and they will be the new thing.

With it being a "one piece" thing, what happens when the tread wears down? Buy a new set of tweels? or will they be "re-treadable"?
