2 slight problems

Well, the first being that when I shift into R, N, D etc. The little square around the letters arent there.. I just have to go by judgement, which is easy but It would be nice to have that function back..

Secondly when I use my right turn blinker it does the double fast blinking (as if a bulb was burnt out) but no bulbs are burnt out.. Just another one of those really annoying things.

If anyone could help me out with those that would be awesome. Thanks-

Welcome to the site.

Can you give us some info on your vehicle, like year etc..

Yes, welcome!

And like Rob said, we really need to know more about your vehicle.

On the blinker issue, if you cannot find the problem and all of your bulbs are working, you can buy a heavy duty flasher that will not do the quick flashing, but I would check ALL bulbs and sockets by removing them from their housings because there is definitely a fault somewhere causing this.

It looks like the instrument cluster is likely the problem, but that's a fairly expensive repair. There is also a possibility that there is a wiring problem to the cluster. Pretty much impossible to diagnose without a scan tool.

Looks like the dealer might have you there.

You could always check the price at the local junk yards.

I dont ahve the indicator thing working on mine either, but that's a completely different problem/solution for me. I just, like you said, use judgement. but with the blinker, I'd just take it out put it in again, maybe try a different bulb. could it be something with the fuses too? i dunno, I dont know much about those things but thats what id do for starters
