94 Blazer

Hi everyone,

Looking at buying a 94 Blazer in about a week. I have a couple concerns though, it has an electrical problem. Every couple a days it blows the ignition fuse I think. It controlls all the guage cluster and also charge circuit stops charging. Also it will then get stuck in 3rd gear. Is this a common problem or willl I be looking for a shafed wire? The heater core is also leaking like a seive, he said the fuse prob started around the same time as the heater core if that helps. Also is there anything else i should keep my eye out for? The truck needs rockers and front fenders but the rest is pretty good. Any help wouold be greatly appreciated.

Tks
Gabe

Welcome to the forum.
How much are you gonna pay for this truck and how handy are you with tools?
You might want to check and see if there are ather Blasers around in better shape.

RE: 94 Blazer

Hi Chevy lover,

The Blazer I should have mentioned is the small s-10 style. 4.3 V-tech eng with 97k miles on it. I am getting this dirt cheap, $200. Yes I can do most of my own work, I have a mig welder and most tools. The stereo is worth $200 alone. I will likely fix and sell it, but may keep it too, not sure yet. Found a used heater core for $40 and after market fenders for $80 a side. Any ideas about the fuse prob, anyone heard of that problem b-4?

Tks
Gabe
