95 s10 blazer 4wd problem (tcem or tccm?)

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what my 4wd problem is. It won't engage into 4 hi but will 4 low. I did the grounding test and the light blinks 4 times. I initially thought this meant its the transfer case encoder motor but after searching this sight see it may be the tccm. Which is it most likely to be and where is the tccm located on a 95?
Thanks

RE: 95 s10 blazer 4wd problem (tcem or tccm?)

A code number 4 (lights blink 4 times) indicates a tccm (transfer case control module)RAM failure. On a 1995 it's in the center bottom of the dash...right behind the cig lighter outlets..it's a silver box about 3x5 inches..held in with 2-7mm screws.

will a tccm off of a 97 blazer interchange with my 95. If so are they in the same location?
Thanks
